My condolences for the loss of your dear Ruth. The death of a loved one is the most devastating experience a family can face. The loss may at times seem unbearable, but know that there are those who care, and more importantly, God cares. Psalm 34:18 tells us that God "is close to the brokenhearted." He "is the God of all comfort". (2 Corinthians 1:3,4)

Some of my happiest memories with Ruth were times when she went on vacation with us. Perhaps the most fun was when we went to Cape Cod and she rented a jeep to ride around Martha's Vineyard, because she always wanted to ride in a jeep. The entire family had a great day.
