Deborah J. `Debbie` (Ryan) Burton

Weymouth, Deborah J. “Debbie” (Ryan) Burton, age 63, of Weymouth, formerly of Brockton and Quincy, died peacefully, Monday, January 1, 2018 at South Shore Hospital.

Debbie was born in Quincy to the late Richard M. and Barbara J. (MacDougall) Ryan. She was a graduate of Quincy High School, Class of 1972, and had lived in Weymouth for eighteen years, previously in Brockton and Quincy.

She was a former employee of the Boston Mutual Insurance Company.

Debbie enjoyed family vacations and gatherings at Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire and also winters in Florida with family and friends.

She was dedicated to her family and especially to her children and cherished granddaughters, actively supporting all their activities and accomplishments.

Beloved mother of Kristin J. McAdam of Weymouth, Robert N. Burton, Jr. and his wife Michelle of Easton.

Devoted grandmother of Ryann and Reese.

Dear sister of Janice R. Blackwell of Florida, Richard W. Ryan and his wife Kathy of Weymouth.

Debbie is also survived by many nieces and nephews, loving family members and friends.

Services will be conducted at the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy on Saturday, January 6th at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visitation at the funeral home Saturday morning 10 – 11 a.m. Interment Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.

Deb decided to live and not exist throughout her circumstances in her life she wanted her love ones and friends to know that she lived her purpose and made a difference to many through it all she made a difference in someone else life that was going through the same situations or similar. Deb joined Ostomiesawareness to help people with ostomies and help create awareness. When she found out about my nonprofit she was one of the first members involved and will always be a great part of our group. Deb lived her life and she believed her purpose which was to help others... love ya my lil lady you was heaven sent I will see you again Jocelyn Ostomiesawareness and SSH group/BHM group

Shocked and saddened to hear of Debbie's passing. She was a good neighbor and friend. In spite of her medical struggles she had an upbeat personality and I was glad to be able to help her on occasion. Her struggles are over and I pray that she rests in Eternal peace.
