Donald F. DiNardo

Quincy, Donald F. DiNardo, age 79, a longtime Quincy resident, died peacefully, Monday, August 7, 2017 at home, surrounded by his loving family.

Donald was born in Norwood to the late Dominic and Antoinette (LaCivita) DiNardo. He was raised and educated in Quincy and was a graduate of Quincy High School.

He was employed for the U.S. Postal Service in Boston’s South Station for twenty-five years. Previously, he had worked for the City of Quincy Highway Department for several years.

Donald proudly served as an Airman 3/c in the U. S. Air Force during the mid 1950’s.

He enjoyed reading and dining out with family and friends.

Don was dedicated to his family.

Beloved husband for forty years of Karen (Visco) DiNardo.

Devoted father of Donna, Jacqueline, Deborah, Nicholas, Mark and his wife Denise, Angela and Dan DiNardo.

Loving grandfather of six grandchildren.

Brother of the late Dominic DiNardo and also survived by two nieces.

Funeral Services will be conducted at the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy on Friday, August 11th at 10 o’clock. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours at the funeral home on Thursday 4 – 7 p.m. Interment with Military Honors at Blue Hill Cemetery in Braintree.
