Julia M. Puglisi
Quincy, Julia M. Puglisi, age 90, a longtime Quincy resident, died peacefully, Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Dwyer Home at Fairing Way in Weymouth, surrounded by her loving family.
Julia was born in Lisbon, New Hampshire to the late Orazio and Grazia (Zona) Puglisi. She was raised and educated in Lisbon and had lived in Quincy for over thirty-five years.
She was employed as a head teller at the former Shawmut Bank for over twenty years. Most of her career was in Boston but she had also worked in the Quincy Center location and had been retired for many years.
Julia was active in senior affairs and volunteering during her time at 1000 Southern Artery, a senior residence complex in Quincy. Julia was a faithful and religious woman and a longtime parishioner of Saint John the Baptist Church in Quincy.

Julia was the last of eight siblings and was predeceased by Eleanor Previte, Margaret Falkowski, Jennie Previte, Mary Rizzotto, Frank Puglisi, Robert Puglisi and John Puglisi.
Julia is also survived by over fifty nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Sweeney Brothers, Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy on Thursday, December 7th at 9 a.m. Funeral Mass in Saint John the Baptist Church, 44 School Street, Quincy at 10 o’clock. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours at the funeral home Wednesday 5 – 8 p.m. Interment in Saint Matthew’s Cemetery in Whitefield, New Hampshire will take place at a later date.
