James J. Brandolini

Quincy, James J. Brandolini, age 53, a lifelong Quincy resident, died peacefully, Friday, September 29, 2017 at the Massachusetts General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

Jim was born and raised in Quincy and was a graduate of Quincy Vocational Technical High School, Class of 1982.

He was employed as a custodian for the U.S. Postal Service for many years, serving most of his career at the Wollaston Post Office.

Jim was a lifelong motorcycle enthusiast.  He enjoying his motorcycles and participated in many competitions and races. 

He loved animals and his faithful pet dog and companion, Zorro. He was also an avid Boston sports fan and especially of the Boston Bruins.

Jim was an active member of the Braintree Moose Lodge.

Beloved son of Catherine E. (Reynolds) Brandolini of Weymouth and the late Frederick J. Brandolini.

Devoted brother of Cheryl A. Keenan and her husband John of Weymouth, the late Frederick J. Brandolini, Jr. and his wife Susan of Easton.

Dear uncle of Mario Picariello, Marisa Picariello, Curtis Keenan, Angelina Brandolini and Gianna Brandolini.

Jim is also survived by several cousins and close friends.

Funeral from the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy, Thursday, October 5th at 9 a.m. Funeral Mass in Saint John the Baptist Church, 44 School Street, Quincy at 10 o’clock. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours at the funeral home on Wednesday 5 – 8 p.m. Interment Pine Hill Cemetery, West Quincy.
