Marion R. (Muise) Beston
Hingham, Marion R. (Muise) Beston, age 93, formerly of Quincy, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, July 19, 2017, at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth, surrounded by her loving family.
Marion was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada to the late Marshall and Martha (LeBlanc) Muise. She immigrated to the United States as a child and was raised and educated in Quincy. Marion was a graduate of Quincy High School, Class of 1942. She had lived in Hingham for four years and previously was a lifelong resident of Quincy.
Marion was a homemaker who was dedicated to her family. She was especially proud of her grandchildren and great grandchildren, actively supporting all their activities and accomplishments.
She also enjoyed music, dancing and her time at the 1000 Southern Artery complex in Quincy where she had developed many friendships.
Beloved wife of the late Harold C. “Turk” Beston.
Devoted mother of Harold D. Beston and his wife Patricia of Weymouth, Paul T. Beston and his fiancée Charlene Bonome of Quincy, and Catherine J. Malvesti and her husband James of Braintree.
Loving grandmother of Gregory Beston and his wife Darcy of Marshfield, Amy Beston and her husband Ben Morgan of Orford, NH, Christopher Beston and his wife Katie of Irvine, CA, Matthew Beston and his wife Lori of Braintree, Sarah Beston and her husband Travis Courtney of Manhattan Beach, CA, Kristen Walters and Robert Dever of Manhattan Beach, CA, James Malvesti, Jr. of Arlington, Michael Malvesti and his wife Ashley of East Bridgewater.
Cherished great grandmother of Nicholas, Christopher, Hailey, Brendan, Molly, Graham, Michael, Brynn, Cooper and Charlotte.
Marion was sister of the late Daniel Muise and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy on Wednesday, July 26th at 9 a.m. Funeral Mass in Saint Joseph’s Church, 550 Washington Street, Quincy at 10 o’clock. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours at the funeral home on Tuesday 5 – 8 p.m. Interment Pine Hill Cemetery, West Quincy.
