Jennifer L. Doren

Quincy, Jennifer L. Doren, age 38, a lifelong Quincy resident, died unexpectedly, Sunday, October 15, 2017 at home.

Jennifer was born and raised in Quincy and was a graduate of Quincy High School, Class of 1997. She later received an associate degree from Quincy Junior College.

She had been employed in the accounting industry for several years.

Jennifer enjoyed yoga and had a passion for cooking.  She was dedicated to her family and friends.

Devoted mother of Alexander J. Roberts of Quincy.

Beloved daughter of Nancy E. (Gilmartin) Doren of Quincy and George C. Doren of Plymouth.

Loving sister of Mark R. Doren of Quincy.

Cherished granddaughter of Agnes (O’Toole) Doren of Quincy and the late George C. Doren, the late Elizabeth “Betty” (Sullivan) Gilmartin and the late James E. Gilmartin, Quincy Fire Department, Retired.

Jennifer is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Memorial Services will be conducted at the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy on Thursday, November 2nd at 11 o’clock. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Memorial visitation at the funeral home prior to the service from 10 – 11 a.m.

Jenn, I hope you now have the peace in passing that this earth couldn't provide. I'd hoped you'd be my maid of honor and we'd have so many other memories to share. I'll settle for the short time we shared. I love you. I'll take care of Alex, Mum, Mark, and Jen.
