Yolanda (DiFederico) Salvucci
Weymouth, Yolanda (DiFederico) Salvucci, age 80, of Weymouth, formerly of Hull, died peacefully, Thursday, December 7, 2017 at home, with the comfort of her loving family.
Yolanda was born in Boston to the late Gabriel and Pierina (DelGizzi) DiFederico. She was raised and educated in Dorchester and had lived in Weymouth for twenty years, previously many years in Hull.
She was a homemaker and was dedicated to her family, especially to her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Beloved wife of the late Charles T. Salvucci.
Devoted mother of Sherry M. Palumbo, Doreen M. Lomasney and her husband Edward all of Whitman.
Loving grandmother of Danielle M. Armstrong and her husband Mike, Stephen M. Palumbo, Jr and his wife Courtney, Rachel L. Lomasney and Brianna M. Lomasney all of Whitman.
Cherished great grandmother of Ava, Isabelle, Stephen III and Michael
Dear sister of Mafalda M. “Muffie” Ventresca and her husband John of Quincy, Alfred DiFederico and his wife Mary of Braintree. Yolanda is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be conducted at the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy on Monday, December 11th at 10 a.m. Relatives and friend are invited to attend. Visitation prior to the service from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Interment Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
