Abedin Paja, age 68

Braintree, Abedin Paja, age 68, of Braintree, formerly of Quincy, died peacefully, Thursday, February 28, 2019, at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, in the comfort of his loving family.

Abedin was born in Skrapar, Albania to the late Qani Mulita and Lima (Sula) Paja. He was raised and educated in Kucove. Abedin immigrated to the United States in 1998, first settling in Indianapolis, Indiana. He had lived in Braintree for the past ten years, previously in Quincy for many years.

Abedin was employed as a welder for Spector Metal Products Company, Inc. of Holbrook for several years.

He enjoyed fishing and working on cars.

Beloved husband of Lulieta (Manaj) Paja.

Devoted father of Leda Paja and her husband Giuseppe of Italy, Noretta Lleshi and her husband Dritan, and Bana Paja, all of Abington.

Loving grandfather of Emily Chimienti, Sofia Lleshi, and Iris Lleshi.

He is also survived by four brothers, one sister, and many nieces and nephews.

Abedin was predeceased by his first wife, Hanko Paja.

Visitation will be held at the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy on Saturday, March 2nd from 12:30 – 2 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment to immediately follow at Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
