Ann C. (Manley) Gaulrapp, age 81

Hingham, Ann C. (Manley) Gaulrapp, age 81, of Hingham, formerly of Cape Cod and Naples, Florida, died peacefully, Tuesday, December 25, 2018 in the comfort of her loving family.

Ann was born in Boston to the late Thomas and Mary (Connolly) Manley. She was raised in Dorchester and Saint Peter’s Parish and was a graduate of the Jeremiah E. Burke High School. She had lived over twenty years in Hingham and previously on Cape Cod. She also enjoyed traveling to Naples, Florida where she was a winter resident for over twenty years.

She was employed as a secretary in the clerk’s office at the Brockton Superior Court for many years.

Most of all, Ann was dedicated to her family and friends. She was especially proud of her children and grandchildren, supporting all their many activities and accomplishments.

Beloved wife of the late Robert E. Gaulrapp, Boston Police Department, Retired.

Devoted mother of Robert E. Gaulrapp, Jr. of Colorado, Karen A. Doyle of Quincy, Nancy J. Pichard and Mark Gaulrapp both of Hingham.

Loving grandmother of Brian, Shannon and Haley.

Dear sister of Claire Ahern of Weymouth, Thomas Manley of Braintree and the late John Manley.

Sister-in-law of Joan Smith of Canton. Ann is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be conducted at the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy on Monday, December 31st at 11 o’clock. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting prior to the service from 10 – 11 a.m. Interment Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
