Denise M. (Dembrowski) Stenson, age 56

Denise M. (Dembrowski) Stenson, age 56, of Plymouth, formerly of Marshfield, died suddenly, Sunday, December 20, 2020 at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston.

Denise was born in Boston, to the late Robert D. and Nancy A. (Tris) Dembrowski, and was a graduate of Weymouth South High School, Class of 1982, where she met the love of her life, Mark.

Denise spent twenty-five years as the Executive Assistant at Nellie Mae in Braintree, and later transitioned to a front office administrator for both Whitman-Hanson Regional High School and Cohasset High School where she retired from.

Denise loved entertaining her friends and family. Whether she was planning a small gathering or a full vacation itinerary, she always had a knack for making sure everyone around her had the best possible time.

Amongst her hobbies, her favorite way to spend her free time was by chatting with friends and family. If you wanted to talk, Denise was just a phone call away. She also loved to watch Tom Brady and the New England Patriots, and in the summer, she enjoyed spending time down the Cape relaxing at Belmont Beach.

Most of all, she was entirely devoted to her family, especially her son, Jason.

Beloved wife for thirty-two years of Mark J. Stenson.

Devoted mother of Jason R. Stenson of Weymouth.

Loving sister of Donna Gates and her husband Lawrence “Larry” of Plymouth.

Dear aunt of Chloe, Andrea, Raymond III, Jimmy, Jr., Ben, Bobby, Claire, Luke, and great aunt to R.C. IV, Ridley, Jimmy III, and Cecilia.

Denise is also survived by many loving in-laws, friends, and her loyal dog, Brady.

In light of current events, memorial services will take place at a later date.

For those who wish, donations in Denise’s memory may be made to The Home for Little Wanderers, Attn: Development, 10 Guest Street, Boston, MA 02135 or by visiting
