Dino D. Svizzero, age 82

Fort Pierce, Florida, Dino D. Svizzero, age 82, of Fort Pierce, Florida, formerly of Holbrook and Quincy, died peacefully, Tuesday, November 27, 2018 in the comfort of his loving family.

Dino was born and raised in Quincy to the late Salvatore and Antonia (Cercone) Svizzero. He was a graduate of Quincy High School, Class of 1954. He had lived in Fort Pierce, Florida for twenty years, previously over twenty-five years in Holbrook and earlier in Quincy.

He was the owner and operator of ACT HVAC Company in Holbrook for twenty-five years which is now operated by his son, Mark.

Dino proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1959 through 1961.

After retirement, he remained always active. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed walking and working out at the gym.

Most of all, Dino was dedicated to his family, and especially to his five cherished grandchildren.

Beloved husband for fifty-seven years of Margaret A. (Foster) Svizzero.

Devoted father of Mark J. Svizzero and his wife Linda of Holbrook, Tracy A. Rappold and her husband Christopher of Mansfield and Joseph S. Svizzero of Weymouth.

Loving grandfather of Anthony and Michael Svizzero, Payton and Antonia Rappold and Nicholas Svizzero.

Dino was the last of four siblings and was pre-deceased by Henry Svizzero, Lucy Salvatore and John Svizzero. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be conducted at the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy on Saturday, December 8th at 11:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visitation prior to the service Saturday from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. Interment with Military Honors at Blue Hill Cemetery in Braintree.
