  • I was in program with Ellen and we did go on vacation several times in the past. She was a blast to go away with.

  • Ellen, You will be so missed by many ,our Family will never forget you ❤️

  • The Sweeney’s were like family to us growing up. Ed and Molly treated us like we were their grandchildren and always looked out for us all. Joe was one of my father best friends. I have a picture of him at our home dressed as Santa Claus with me on his lap when I was maybe 3 years old. Ellen was an angel on earth and like an Aunt to us. She would stop by our house EVERY DAY for the 23/24 years we lived there. She remembered all of our birthdays and always brought us birthday cards. She was at every celebration, holiday and BBQ. Always happy to see us with that big smile and contagious laugh of hers and bigger than life personality… they lived one block from us. She as ALWAYS walking around Quincy, every sidewalk sale, all church events and loved going to the South Shore Plaza.
When my little sister was ill with Leukemia, Ellen for YEARS, always stopped by “how’s little Dianna doing?”…her heart was huge..she was like family.
My parents continued to see her after they moved. When my children were small we saw her at the South Shore Plaza while out with my mother and I got to introduce her..it had been years, but she greater me the same and was so happy to see us- we were happier to see her.
I’m so sorry to hear of her passing. I’m happy to read she had such great care givers and got to go on many new adventures with people that loved her.

Ellen you will be missed, you are with your mom and dad and brother now all reunited. Thank you for all of the love and care and wonderful memories. All my love to you always! ❤️
