  • Faith was my 2nd cousin once removed, and was very close to my father Walter and Aunt Miriam — more like a close first cousin. She was a great elementary school teacher, music lover, and piano player, who had such impact over her students in more than three decades of teaching in Weymouth.

I was having lunch with her on my way down the Cape around ten years ago, when the waitress at our lunch spot off I-93 recognized ”Miss Buckley” as her second grade teacher, and was full of gratitude and thanks. I am grateful to Faith (and her beloved ‘Na, Aunt Anna Delaney) for her many kindnesses and happy times with my parents and brothers back in the 70s, 80s and 90s.

  • “Cousin Faith” was so gracious to me, my wife Elena and our family when we visited Boston, in 1999 and 2013. She was very interested in the five kids, her second cousins twice removed, and glad to hear Stephen carrying on her love for music: he played the guitar for her at our second visit.

May she rest in peace, joining in the music of Heaven.

  • So sad to hear of Faith’s passing. I had the pleasure of working across the corridor from her classroom and enjoyed hearing her incorporating lessons into musicals!
How fortunate for those students and me! She had so much to offer. May she rest in peace.

  • So sorry to hear of Faith’s passing. She will be remembered fondly by her students and Academy Ave staff. We all enjoyed her musical abilities and interests.

    May she Rest In Peace…….
