Jeannine F. (Perkins) MacDonald, age 57

Quincy, Jeannine F. (Perkins) MacDonald, age 57, a lifelong Quincy resident, died peacefully, Monday, October 15, 2018 at the South Shore Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Jeannine was born and raised in Quincy. She was a homemaker but had also worked for ten years at the Hancock Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Quincy where she loved her job and the people she cared for and worked with.

Jeannine enjoyed music and dancing.

Most of all, her passion was for her family, especially her children and grandchildren.  She loved spending time with them and supporting all their many activities and accomplishments.

Beloved wife of the late Mark S.J. MacDonald.

Devoted mother of Mark S. MacDonald and his wife Kimberly of Moultonboro, NH, Sean M. MacDonald and Deanna Ford of Rockland, Angela M. MacDonald and Joseph Diaz of Quincy.

Loving grandmother of Kaleigh, Markie, Michaela and Savannah.

Jeannine was daughter of the late Walter Perkins and the late Mary (Smith) Perkins Leona and her husband Fred Leona of Quincy.

Dear sister of Anita Perkins and Vincent Adler of Quincy, Eddie Perkins of ME, Terri Lynne Peretti and her husband James of Easton, Joseph Leona of Quincy, Valerie Burke and her husband Kevin of Bridgewater, the late Charlene, Brenda and Walter Perkins. Jeannine is also survived and loved by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy, Saturday, October 20th at 9 a.m. Funeral Mass in Saint John the Baptist Church, 44 School Street, Quincy at 10 o’clock. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours at the funeral home Friday 5 – 8 p.m. Interment private.
