Loretta (Iacovello) Beaudoin, age 83

Loretta (Iacovello) Beaudoin, age 83, of Quincy, formerly of Hanover, died peacefully, Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, surrounded by her loving family.

Loretta was born in Quincy to the late Lorenzo and Concetta (Lavorsi) Iacovello. She was raised and educated in Quincy and had resided in Hanover for fifteen years before returning to Quincy, where she had lived most of her life.

She was a dedicated homemaker but had also worked as a real estate agent with her late husband, Philip, at the former Beaudoin Realty in Hanover for many years.

Loretta enjoyed bingo and playing cards with her brothers and sisters. She was a wonderful cook and loved cooking for family and friends but most of all, she was devoted to her family and was especially proud of her grandchildren and great grandson.

Beloved wife of the late Philip F. Beaudoin.

Devoted mother of Leslie A. Devaney of North Carolina, Philip F. Beaudoin and his wife Colleen of Harwich, Ronald G. Beaudoin and his wife Karen of Weymouth, Yvonne L. Fields and her husband Eric of North Carolina, the late Keith M. Beaudoin and his wife Elaine of Bridgewater.

Loving grandmother of Nicole, Michael, Griffin, Dustin, Ronald, Amanda, Kellie Ann and Keith. Cherished great grandmother of Jacob.

One of thirteen siblings, Loretta was the dear sister of Rose Barney of Kentucky, Richard Iacovelli of Martha’s Vineyard and pre-deceased by Josephine DiTullio, Carmella Luciano, Margaret Plapis, Michael Iacovello, Virginia Hart, Dorothy Rice, Robert Iacovello, Mario Iacovelli, Lorenzo Iacovello and Vincent Iacovello.

She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

At the request of the family, funeral arrangements were private.
