  • Death is nothing at all.
    It does not count.
I have only slipped away into the next room. Nothing has happened.

Everything remains exactly as it was.
I am I, and you are you,
and the old life that we lived so fondly together is untouched, unchanged.
Whatever we were to each other, that we are still.

Call me by the old familiar name.
Speak of me in the easy way which you always used.
Put no difference into your tone.
Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow.

Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes that we enjoyed together.
Play, smile, think of me, pray for me.
Let my name be ever the household word that it always was.
Let it be spoken without an effort, without the ghost of a shadow upon it.

Life means all that it ever meant.
It is the same as it ever was.
There is absolute and unbroken continuity.
What is this death but a negligible accident?

Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
I am but waiting for you, for an interval,
    somewhere very near,
    just round the corner.

  • Luanne was a sweet, funny, kind-hearted person. Her soul is at peace. My prayers go out to the entire Mullen family that they may find peace in their lives.

  • Lu was loved by the whole Keenan family. I think she was 19 when we first met her and she was so sweet. Over the years I got to know her as a special person in our lives. Sometimes it felt like we were thick as thieves people watching at the various parties snd celebrations we were at together. I have to say she was funny as hell! She was an aunt to all the kids in our family and they all called her Auntie Lu. We will cherish our memories of her.

  • Auntie, I am at a loss of words. You were a huge part of Jacob and Is life growing up. You and mom were thick as thieves. I am going to miss you so much! I love you!

  • So many wonderful childhood memories with Luanne. Rest In Peace beautiful friend

  • Luanne was a gentle and caring person who was loved by many. My condolences go out to Billy, Jimmy, and Michael and all family members.

I will remember her in my prayers. RIP, Luanne.
