Mary A. (D’Alessandro) Sangermano, age 97

Quincy, Mary A. (D’Alessandro) Sangermano, age 97, a lifelong Quincy resident, died peacefully, Friday, November 2, 2018 at the Quincy Health and Rehabilitation Center, in the comfort of her loving family.

Mary was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and was raised and educated in Quincy schools.

She was employed as a seamstress in the garment industry for over forty-five years and retired many years ago.

Mary was a kind woman and was devoted to her family and friends.

Beloved wife of the late Alfred Sangermano.

One of seven siblings, Mary was the dear sister of Yola D’Alessandro of Quincy and pre-deceased by Joseph E. D’Allessandro, Lillian DiBona, William D’Alessandro, Joseph P. D’Alessandro and Robert L. D’Alessandro.

Mary is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy, Wednesday, November 7th at 9 a.m. Funeral Mass in Saint John the Baptist Church, 44 School Street, Quincy at 10 o’clock. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours at the funeral home Tuesday 5 – 7 p.m. Interment Mount Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy.
