Mary A. (Sylvester) LeBlanc, age 90

Mary A. (Sylvester) LeBlanc, age 90, of Quincy, formerly of Dorchester, died peacefully, Friday, March 19, 2021, at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital – Milton.

Mary was born in Somerville, to the late Elmer F. and Florence E. (Marshall) Sylvester. She was raised and educated in Dorchester’s Neponset area. Mary had lived in Quincy for the past twenty years, previously in Dorchester for most of her life.

She was employed as a nurse’s aide at The Boston Home for thirty-five years and had been retired for many years.

Mary was a loyal fan of the Boston Red Sox. She also enjoyed traveling with her children. Most of all, she was devoted to her family.

Mary was a woman with a big heart, quick wit, and a wonderful sense of humor. She will be missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Wife of Robert LeBlanc and the late John L. Bottary.

Devoted mother of John Bottary and his wife Laura of Holbrook, twins Michael A. Bottary and his wife Alice of Hull, Mary A. Bottary of Dorchester, and Ann Marie C. Stillman and her husband Steven of Hull.

Loving grandmother of Michael Bottary, Jason Bottary, Ana Bottary and her husband Devin, Ryan Bottary and his wife Dorothy, and Sarah Stillman. Cherished great-grandmother of Nicky, Owen, and Olivia.

Mary was predeceased by her siblings, Ruth E. Sylvester and Joseph W. Sylvester, and is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services will be conducted privately at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.
