Sotiraq Pango, age 47

Sotiraq Pango, age 47, of Weymouth, formerly of Braintree, died unexpectedly, Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at the South Shore Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

Sotiraq was born in Lushnje, Albania where he was raised and educated. He had lived in Greece for twenty years before immigrating to the United States in 2006. He had lived in Weymouth for two years, previously eleven years in Braintree.

He was an electrician and was employed at the Costas Provisions Corporation in Boston for thirteen years.

Sotiraq was a hard-working man who was dedicated to his family and was the best dad to his two loving daughters.

Beloved husband for twenty-seven years of Xhensila (Plasa) Pango.

Devoted father of Joana Pango and Dhespina Pango, both of Weymouth.

Cherished son of Sokrat and Froso (Menkshi) Pango of Weymouth.

Dear brother of Kostandin Pango and his wife Elina, Floraq Pango and his wife Rezjana, all of Weymouth.

Sotiraq is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral Services will be conducted at Saint Catherine’s Greek Orthodox Church, 119 Common Street, Braintree, Saturday, December 21, at 2 p.m. Father Dionysios Koulianos, presiding Priest, will officiate. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours at the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy, Friday 5 – 8 p.m. Interment Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
