TinaMarie A. Shannon, age 47, a lifelong resident of West Quincy, passed away, suddenly, Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at home.

TinaMarie was born and raised in Quincy. She was a graduate of the former Saint Mary’s School in West Quincy. She attended Fontbonne Academy in Milton and was a graduate of Quincy High School, Class of 1995.

TinaMarie was employed as a manager at the former Linens ‘n Things and later Pier 1 Imports in Braintree. She also worked as an au pair for many years.

TinaMarie had a passion for animals and loved taking care of her basset hounds and cats. She enjoyed traveling and vacationing, and spending time with friends. Most of all, she was a family-oriented person who was devoted to her mother and grandparents.

Beloved daughter of Dolores M. (Padula) Shannon of Quincy and the late Michael F. Shannon.

Devoted granddaughter of Velia O. (Ferrara) Padula of Quincy and the late James G. Padula, Q.F.D., Retired.

Loving niece of Derelyn A. Padula and her husband Russell Rivard of N.H., Patricia Shannon of Quincy, and the late James G. Padula, Jr.

TinaMarie is also survived by many dear cousins and devoted friends.

At the request of the family, services were private.
