Virginia J. (Casey) Shiner, age 66

Virginia J. (Casey) Shiner, age 66, of Boston, died peacefully, Sunday, October 11, 2020, at her home.

Virginia was born in Boston, to the late Thomas A. and Mary V. (Gorman) Casey. Raised and educated there, she was a graduate of Cathedral High School in Boston, Class of 1971. Virginia also attended Mass Bay Community College. She was a lifelong Boston resident.

She was employed as a service attendant for Amtrak for ten years. Virginia also worked as a waitress in the restaurant industry throughout her life.

Beloved mother of Danielle C. Pesa and her husband Tim of Medford.

Devoted sister of George T. Casey of Kingston.

Dear niece of George Cataldo of Kingston.

Virginia is also survived by many cousins and friends.

Former wife of Raymond Shiner of Florida.

Visiting hours will be held at the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy, on Friday, October 16, from 4-6 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Services are operating in accordance with current guidelines.
