Angela M. Mila, age 73

Angela M. (Aceto) Mila, age 73, of Quincy, formerly of Holbrook, died unexpectedly, Sunday, August 31, 2025 at home.

Angela was born in Boston, to the late Jean (LaLicata) and Antonio Aceto. She was raised in the West End of Boston.

She lived in Quincy for over twenty years, previously in Holbrook for many years.

Angela was employed as an underwriter for the Massachusetts FAIR Plan at Center Plaza in Boston for twelve years before stepping away to raise her young family.

Angela was an avid Boston sports fan, especially of the New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox. She enjoyed playing Bingo and making trips to Las Vegas over the years. A woman of faith, she stayed connected to the church through the CatholicTV Network. Most recently, Angela relished her role as grandmother and doting on her grandson, Vincent.

Devoted mother of Julie A. Mila and her partner Shane A. Kyller of Quincy, and Jennifer L. Mila of Fall River.

Loving grandmother of Vincent.

Dear sister of Peter Aceto of Everett, Michael Aceto of Boston, Joanne Santaniello of North Reading, and the late Lorraine Aceto.

Angela is also survived by many nieces and nephews and had a special connection with her niece, LouAnn Santaniello.

Visiting Hours will be held at the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy, on Thursday, September 4, from 4 – 7 p.m. Funeral Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday, September 5, at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Pine Hill Cemetery, West Quincy. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
