Joan M. (Hearon) DiMarzo, age 71, of Whitman, died suddenly, Saturday, December 13, 2025 at home.

Joan was born in Quincy, raised and educated in Weymouth. She was a graduate of Weymouth South High School. Joan later received an Associate’s degree in fashion retail. She lived in Whitman for thirty years, previously in Weymouth.

Joan was a shoe sales associate at Lord & Taylor at the South Shore Plaza in Braintree for thirty-eight years. She began her career working at Natale’s Men’s Clothier.

She enjoyed watching HGTV home makeover’s programs and looked forward to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade each year.

She was the proud pet parent of her cats, Nina and Fluffy.

Beloved wife for thirty-six years of Michael C. DiMarzo.

Devoted daughter of the late Marion J. (DiFazio) and Hubert H. Hearon.

She was one of five siblings and the loving sister of the late Mary E. Develler.

Graveside Services will be conducted at Blue Hill Cemetery, 700 West Street, Braintree, on Friday, December 19, at 1 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Those attending should gather at the cemetery office at 12:45 p.m.
