Rosalina Mandawe, age 85

Rosalina (Quiton) Mandawe, age 85, a longtime resident of Quincy, died peacefully, Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, surrounded by her loving family.

Rosalina was born in Manila, Philippines, to the late Regina (Vasquez) Butler and Benjamin Quiton. Raised and educated there, she immigrated to the United States in 1978, settling in Quincy, where she lived for the past forty-eight years.

Rosalina was a homemaker and talented cook who was devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren, actively supporting their many activities and accomplishments.

Beloved wife of the late Leopoldo L. Mandawe.

Devoted mother of Manuel Mandawe, Luisa O’Neil and her husband William, Nenita Casey and her husband Michael, all of Quincy, Lilibeth Fazio and her husband Domenic of Revere, Rodelio Mandawe and his wife Ping of Quincy, and the late Victoria Mandawe.

Loving grandmother of ten and great grandmother of two.

Dear sister of Lovina Cortez and Bienvenido Quiton, both of Quincy.

Funeral Services will be conducted at the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy, on Saturday, February 14, at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visitation prior to the service from 9 – 10:30 a.m. Interment Pine Hill Cemetery, West Quincy.
