The heartbeat of the family, Dick was the anchor and the one who always had your back. In the eyes of his family, he was their “Hero”. He was kind, compassionate, generous, had a quirky sense of humor, tremendous work ethic, and endless energy. As a teller of tales, Dick often began his story with the phrase “True Story”. An avid reader, he also enjoyed spending time in his vegetable garden and following the New England Patriots.

Dick lived a long and fulfilling life and will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.

Beloved husband for seventy-three years of Marie (DiBona), the love of his life.

Loving father of Lynne D’Andrea and her husband Jim, Wayne Russo and his wife Debbie, Charlene Bonome and her partner Paul Beston, Rick Russo, and Annette Russo.

  • I will miss U so much. Always was a great help at work. Best help U could have.

  • I had the honor and privilege of being Dick Russo’s daughter-in-law. But he always made me feel like more of a daughter. Dick was one of my favorite people and he will be sorely missed. I will miss his smile and his laugh, his patience and kindness, and the way he would say the most unexpected things. Holidays will never be the same. He was a presence and a true family man who will never be forgotten. His love will live on.
