  • Stanley, I can’t begin to describe the impact you’ve had on me—on your wife, your sons, grandchildren, family friends, and strangers. Your greatest gift was always bringing people together and making them laugh.

You were also the most generous person—always such a giver, always wanting to support anyone in need. You would truly give the shirt off your back to make sure someone else had what they needed.

I still can’t believe you are gone, but I know you will always be with us as our guardian angel.

We are all here to love and support your bride, as you would always say—Miss Janet. She is surrounded by so many loving and caring people. We promise to honor your memory by laughing, living in the moment, being there for one another, lending a helping hand, and continuing to volunteer and support the members and veterans of the DAV.

I love you always and will miss you so much.

    Love,
    Your favorite daughter-in-law
    Sarah B. Pratt
