Zahra D. (Abouzeid) Ibrahim, age 81, of Quincy, died peacefully, Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth, surrounded by her loving family.

Zahra was born in Mlikh, Lebanon, to the late Jalile (Matta) and Deeb Abouzeid. She immigrated to the United States in 1988, settling in Quincy, where she lived for the past thirty-eight years.

Zahra was a homemaker who was devoted to her family, especially her late husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Beloved wife of the late Chawki Ibrahim.

Devoted mother of George Ibrahim and his wife Marcella, Katia Ibrahim, Lydia Chahine and her husband Henry, David Ibrahim, Bernard Ibrahim and his wife Souriya, Dib Ibrahim and his wife Emily, Mike Ibrahim and his wife Diana, Gabi Ibrahim and his wife Rouba, and Tady Ibrahim and his wife Rita.

Loving grandmother of twenty-six and great grandmother of fourteen.

Dear sister of Maroun Abouzeid, Farida Zeidan, Waffa Hanna, and Nassim Abouzeid.

Zahra is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and their families.

Visiting Hours will be held at the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy, on Friday, June 12, from 4 – 7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Saint Joseph’s Church, 550 Washington Street, Quincy, on Saturday, June 13, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery, West Quincy. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
