J. Michael “Mike” Aries, age 68, of Kingston, formerly of Weymouth, died peacefully, Friday, June 12, 2026 in the comfort of his loving family and friends.

Mike was born in Dorchester, raised and educated in Weymouth, and was a graduate of Weymouth High School, Class of 1975. He lived in Kingston for many years.

He was employed as a truck driver and equipment operator as a proud member of IUOE Local 4, retiring in 2023, after nineteen years of service. Previously, he had worked as a truck driver for Stop & Shop Supermarket Company and Shaw’s.

Mike was a Boston sports fan and especially enjoyed the Boston Bruins. He also loved music and was known for his disco dancing.

However, his greatest passion was being a motorcycle enthusiast. Mike was an independent biker and loved to ride his Harley Davidson, taking many memorable road trips and making many special friendships along the way. He was a loyal person and loved his motorcycle community.

Son of the late Joseph E. and Margaret M. (Lucas) Aries.

Mike is survived by his five sisters and their families, as well as many loyal friends.

Graveside Services will be conducted at Blue Hill Cemetery, 700 West Street, Braintree, on Monday, June 22, at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Those attending should gather in the parking area of Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy, at 10:30 a.m., for procession to the cemetery.
