Pauline Wynot, age 91

Pauline (Nisula) Wynot, age 91, a former longtime resident of Braintree, died peacefully, Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at The Ellis Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Norwood.

Pauline was born in Quincy, to the late John O. and Ellen M. (Anderson) Nisula. Raised and educated there, she was a graduate of Quincy High School.

She lived in Braintree for most of her life. In retirement, Pauline and her late husband, Ned, also spent time in Florida and on Cape Cod.

Pauline was employed as a receptionist for Dunkin’ Donuts at its corporate office in Randolph for several years. Prior to that, she worked alongside her late husband, Ned, at the former Wynot’s Service Station in East Braintree. She had been retired for many years.

Pauline enjoyed travelling and gardening. Most of all, she was devoted to her family, actively supporting their many activities and accomplishments.

Beloved wife of the late Edward R. “Ned” Wynot.

Devoted mother of Deborah Bjorkman and her husband Chuck of Hull, Nancy Golden and her husband Kevin of Walpole, John Wynot of Medford, and the late Robert E. “Bob” Wynot and his surviving wife Robin of Braintree.

Loving grandmother of Daniel Bjorkman and his wife Leanna, Douglas Bjorkman; Jaimie Wynot Cooper and her husband Scott, Daina Wynot, Caisie Montessano and her husband Nick; Grant Golden and his wife Allison, Tyler Golden and his wife Molly.

Cherished great grandmother of nine.

Memorial Services will be conducted at the First Congregational Church of Braintree, 12 Elm Street, Braintree, on Monday, August 17, at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. At the request of the family, visiting hours have been omitted.
