Alfred W. Johnson, age 84, of Brockton, died peacefully, Sunday, February 12, 2023 at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton.
Al was born in Brockton, to the late Alden and Muriel (Foye) Johnson. Raised and educated in Brockton, he was a graduate of Brockton High School. He lived in Brockton for most of his life but also in Easton.
Al served in the United States Coast Guard during the Vietnam era.
He worked for the former New England Telephone Company as an inside equipment installer.
Al enjoyed fishing, gardening, riding horses, and spending time outdoors.
Father of Brant A. Johnson, Alisa Simoes and her husband David, and their children, Andrea and Matthew.
Brother of Loren Johnson and the late Bradford A. Johnson.
