Androniqi I. (Kallushi) Dindi, age 87, of Quincy, died peacefully, Wednesday, October 30, 2024 in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Androniqi was born in Himare, Albania, to the late Ilia and Evdhoksia (Kutulla) Kallushi. She was raised and educated there. In 1990, Androniqi and her family moved to Greece. Two years later, she and her family immigrated to the United States, first settling in Burlington, and then moving to Quincy. She lived in Quincy for over thirty years.
Androniqi was employed as a health aide at various nursing homes and had been retired for many years.
She was a talented cook and enjoyed gardening, cultivating both flowers and vegetables. Most of all, she was devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren.
Beloved wife of the late Bardhyl Dindi.
Devoted mother of Petro Dindi of Albania, and the late Markos Dindi and his surviving fiancée Anjeza Flamuraj of Quincy.
Loving grandmother of Izabel A. Dindi and Santino P. Dindi.
One of five siblings, she is survived by two sisters, Vasiliqi and Pinellopi, and one brother, Jani. She was predeceased by her brother, Fane.
Androniqi is also survived by many dear nieces, nephews, and their families.
Funeral Services will be conducted at McMaster Funeral Home, 86 Franklin Street (Route 37), Braintree, on Wednesday, November 6, at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment to follow at Pine Hill Cemetery, West Quincy. At the request of the family, visiting hours have been omitted.
