Carl DiTullio, age 97, of Weymouth, formerly of Quincy, died peacefully, Tuesday, February 11, 2026 at The Atrium at Faxon Woods in Quincy, surrounded by his loving family.

Carl was born in Quincy, to the late Donato and Philomena G. (D’Angelo) DiTullio. Raised and educated there, he was a graduate of Quincy Trade School, Class of 1946. He later attended Northeastern University.

He lived in Weymouth for over sixty years, previously in Quincy.

Carl was proud to have served as a Corporal in the United States Army during the Korean conflict and was awarded the Army of Occupation Medal (Germany).

He was employed as a tool designer for the former Boston Gear Works in Quincy, retiring after forty-two years of service.

Carl was always active and upbeat. He enjoyed bowling, tennis, and gardening. He was also a master carpenter and well-known for making furniture and kitchen cabinets for family and friends.

Most of all, Carl was devoted to his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren, supporting all their many activities and accomplishments.

Beloved husband of the late Mary C. (D’Antonio) DiTullio.

Devoted father of Doreen Quinones and her husband Jose of Texas, Karen DiTullio and her husband David of Sandwich, twins Susan Bendott of Hingham, Sandra Litchfield and her husband Brian of California, Patricia Ayers and her husband Mitchell of Whitman, Carl Matthew DiTullio and his partner Michael Gieselman of Quincy, John D’Antonio of New Hampshire, and Joseph D’Antonio and his wife Wanda of Falmouth.

Loving grandfather of thirteen and great grandfather of seven.

The last of three siblings, he was predeceased by Anthony DiTullio and Mary Jane DiTullio.

At the request of the family, services were private.
