Charlotte A. Girard, age 80

Charlotte A. (Frazier) Girard, age 80, of Braintree, formerly of Weymouth and Quincy, died peacefully, Sunday, January 11, 2026 at John Scott House Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Braintree, surrounded by her loving family.

Charlotte was born in Quincy, to the late John Kenneth and Agnes (Erickson) Frazier. Raised and educated there, she was a graduate of Quincy High School, Class of 1963.

She lived in Braintree for over thirty years, previously in Quincy and Weymouth.

Charlotte spent her career working as a Provider Services Representative for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts. She had been retired for many years.

Charlotte was a member of the Weymouth-Braintree Lodge of Elks and the Weymouth Eagles, and enjoyed the many friendships she made over the years.

Charlotte loved Nantasket Beach, her many trips to Las Vegas and Aruba, and cherished time spent with friends and family.

Devoted mother of Douglas P. Girard of Pembroke and his late wife Cheryl, Kenneth C. Girard and his wife Patricia of Braintree, Cheryl A. Carrigan and her husband Stephen of Rockland, and Kristin M. MacDougall and her husband Donald of Braintree.

Loving grandmother of Zachary, Nicholas, and Kayla Girard, Elizabeth Carrigan, and twins Gavin and Paige MacDougall.

Sister of the late John K. “Jack” Frazier, Jr. and his surviving wife Patricia of Illinois.

Charlotte is also survived by several nephews and cousins.

Visiting Hours will be held at the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy, on Friday, January 16, from 4 – 7 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Funeral Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday, January 17, at 10:30 a.m. Cremation will follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Charlotte’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 320 Nevada Street, Suite 201, Newton, MA 02460.

    Im so sorry for the loss of your Mom. I have many memories of you all over our house on Wingate Rd as kids My Dad (Dickie) and Charlotte were like Frick and frack. She used to visit me at the bank from time to time for a chat too. She will be greatly missed. May she rest in the sweetest peace xoxo
