Chi Kim Trinh, age 52

Chi Kim Trinh, 52, of Quincy, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 16, 2026, at Boston Medical Center, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family.

Born, raised, and educated in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, Chi came to the United States in 2013 and made her home in Quincy, where she built a life filled with family, community, and devotion over the past thirteen years.

Before immigrating, Chi worked in banking in Vietnam. Here in Massachusetts, she continued to live with the same quiet strength, kindness, and generosity that defined her throughout her life.

Deeply spiritual, Chi was an active member of the Bo De Meditation Center in Braintree. She found joy in music, dancing, and karaoke, but nothing meant more to her than time spent with her family, especially her beloved sons.

Chi was the cherished wife of Brian K. Orrick.

She was the devoted mother of Thomas T. Do and Tony T. Do, both of Quincy.

She was the loving daughter of Nhuan Dinh of Vietnam and the late Ai Van Trinh.

Chi is survived by her dear siblings: Thoa Trinh of Quincy, Dat Trinh of Vietnam, Kim Trinh of Pembroke, and Bao Trinh of Vietnam.

She is also lovingly remembered by Brian’s children, Kayla M. Orrick of Quincy and Christopher L. Orrick of Framingham, along with many nieces and nephews who adored her.

Visiting hours will be held at the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy, on Sunday, February 22, from 2 – 5 p.m. Relatives and friends are warmly invited to attend.
