Dave was born in Quincy, raised and educated in Whitman. He attended Cardinal Spellman High School in Brockton for 3 years and was a graduate of Whitman Hanson High School, class of 1979. He lived in Whitman for most of his life.
He worked as a Delivery Specialist/Local Driver for Frito-Lay and was a member of the Teamsters Local 653 for over 30 years.
Dave enjoyed sports, especially hockey and played street hockey and Little League baseball in his youth. He was an ultimate Boston sports fan, a former NE Patriots season ticket holder and avid Boston Bruins fan, attending games frequently.
He had many passions, starting with music. He loved many genres but was a true heavy metal guy. In his younger years Dave worked with many bands as a roadie. He also loved cars, built car models as a kid and later as an adult, owned two beautiful Mustangs, which he raced.

His quick wit, love of a funny story and the company of his numerous friends meant everything to him, as well as his love of family.
A dedicated caregiver to his late mom during recent years gave his family the gift of keeping her at home all but the last months of her life.
Beloved son the late Barbara J. (Comeau) Gaudreau and Ernest E. Gaudreau.
