David W. Giglio, age 65

David W. Giglio, age 65, formerly of Quincy, died peacefully, Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at Legacy Village at Golden Pond in Hopkinton.

David was born, raised, and educated in Quincy. He was a graduate of Quincy Vocational Technical School, Class of 1979. He was also a graduate of the Wentworth Institute of Technology and earned his Master of Business Administration degree from Northeastern University.

He lived in Quincy for most of his life, previously in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. for fifteen years.

David was employed as a real estate agent in Florida. Prior to that, he was employed as an electrical engineer for various companies in Greater Boston.

David enjoyed flowers, gardening, and planting. He took great pride in maintaining his pool and terraces at his home in Florida. He had an affinity for cats, especially his late cat, Patrick, whom he cared for for twenty-one years.

Beloved son of Rose R. (Aliberti) Giglio of Quincy and the late Salvatore W. Giglio.

Devoted brother of Linda R. Mazzei and her husband Stephen of Braintree, Robert S. Giglio and his wife Linda of Annandale, N.J., Mark J. Giglio and his wife Anne of Norton, and Lisa M. Luciano.

David is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and their families, as well as his dear friend, Rich Mesek.

Funeral Services will be conducted at the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy, on Saturday, November 29, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visitation prior to the service from 9 – 10 a.m. Interment Pine Hill Cemetery, West Quincy.
