  • Thinking of you and sending condolences. Doris was an amazing woman and I’m so grateful I knew her, wish I made it back to the lake one more time to see her.

  • I knew Doris as our hallway security, school monitor, and everyone’s Nonna around BHS. She gave joy and friendship, a stern direction, or a soft word to anyone of every age. Condolences and love. ❤️ Anne

  • I had the privilege of knowing you at BHS, and I will always remember your kindness and the care you gave to everyone around you. You had a way of making students feel seen, heard, and valued, a gift that touched so many lives. Rest in beautiful peace, Doris. You will be dearly missed and always remembered.

    With a heavy heart,
    Christine

  • John and I feel so blessed to have met Doris and Steve 20 years ago at Sundeck in NH. I looked forward to our conversations every August. Doris was always so proud of her kids and grandkids and would always be bragging about them. She would go on her shopping trips and always bring us ladies back a gift. Funny, kind and such a sweet lady is how I will always remember Doris. May you rest in the sweetest peace.

  • I met Doris in School when we were teenagers and Graduated with her at QHS class of 1969. We had many good times and lots of laughter hanging out with all our girlfriends. Rest in Peace, Doris

  • Dear Steve, We were so sorry to hear of Doris’ passing. We now live in Norton, MA but still have the Quincy Sun delivered regularly. We couldn’t help but smile at our memories of the Blizzard of ’78 when you were stuck at a coworker’s house while we shoveled out and slogged to Shop & Save with a sled to get bread and milk! Doris was a feisty one! We also shared the same wedding anniversary as well as our friendship with Joe and Susi. Our prayers and condolences to you and your family
