Edward J. Corrigan, Jr., age 70, of Braintree, died peacefully, Thursday, September 25, 2025 at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital – Plymouth, surrounded by his loving family, after a prolonged illness.

Edward was born in Weymouth and raised in Braintree. He was a graduate of Braintree High School, Class of 1973.

Edward was a talented silk screener and sign installer. He especially enjoyed fishing on Sunset Lake and watching scary movies with his daughter. He loved traveling to Puerto Rico with his entire family. He was an excellent cook. He will be deeply missed.

Edward’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He is no longer in pain. He is finally at peace.

Edward is survived by his daughter, Michelle L. Corrigan, and his three grandchildren, Brayden, Avery, and Stormy. He also leaves his dear friend and companion, Cheryl A. Calderwood. Edward was the brother of Nancy C. Vallande and the late Robert F. Corrigan. He was the brother-in-law of Robert J. Vallande.

In accordance with Edward’s wishes, no services will be held.
