George M. Kondroski, age 69

George M. Kondroski, age 69, of Quincy, died suddenly, Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at home.

George was born in Weymouth and raised in Rockland. He was a graduate of Rockland High School, Class of 1975. He lived in Quincy for over twenty years, previously in Brockton.

George was proud to have served in the United States Army during the late 1970s and early 1980s, attaining the rank of Sergeant.

George was employed as a mailroom clerk for the Stop & Shop Supermarket Company in Quincy. He had been retired for many years.

George was an avid Boston Red Sox fan and enjoyed playing the Lottery.

Beloved son of the late George M. and Hazel E. (Holbrook) Kondroski.

Devoted brother of Martha L. Kondroski of Freetown, Nancy A. Schultz and her husband John of Brockton, Andrew T. Kondroski and his wife Cheryl of Brockton, the late Timothy W. Kondroski, and the late Marguerite F. “Peggy” Chandler and her late husband Robert.

George is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

At the request of the family, services were private.
