  • As we say goodbye to our loving friend and diligent co-worker. our hearts are saddened but also joyous that suffering has ended for John. A most just man, whose Catholic faith was tantamount in his life, John exemplified qualities of a true gentleman throughout his 91 years. John was a great example of his Catholic faith, attending daily Mass at his beloved church, St. John the Baptist in Quincy, MA.
Prayer was a constant in John’s life – his favorite the Rosary. He had a special devotion to Our Blessed Mother and John would often guide others to ‘go to Our Blessed Mother’ who will lead you to Her Son, Jesus. A most just man, loved by family and friends alike, we trust, in hope, that Our Blessed Mother wrapped Her child, John, in Her loving and protective mantle, accompanying him to his final residence in Heaven.
For 20+ years, up until a year ago, John volunteered at Medjugorje in America, a non-profit religious organization dedicated to spreading the messages of Our Blessed Mother, Queen of Peace in Medjugorje (Bosnia-Herzegovina). John oversaw the promotion of its Eucharistic Monstrance pin ministry and wore this pin faithfully, another testament to his deep faith. In addition, he was instrumental in the mailing of its monthly newsletter, and purchased refreshments for the volunteers without fanfare.
John’s life was truly a pilgrimage of great faith and good deeds toward his family and friends alike. We thank you, John, for your love and respect for each of us during your life with us here on earth, as we trust you will continue to pray for us, as you enjoy Heavenly peace with all the angels and saints. Until we reunite and meet again . . .
The Staff and Volunteers at Medjugorje in America, with much love. Fiat. 
