Kathryn L. “Kay” (Gatto) Pasquale, age 91, a longtime resident of Quincy, died peacefully, Monday, December 23, 2024 at The Atrium at Faxon Woods, in the comfort of her loving son, Joseph.

Kathryn was born in Boston, to the late Joseph and Margaret (Faulkner) Gatto. Raised and educated in Charlestown, she was a graduate of Charlestown High School. She lived in Quincy for over sixty-five years.

Kay was employed with the Grossman Company, in the real estate division, where she worked in bookkeeping. She retired after thirty-five years of service.

Kay was devoted to her family.

Beloved wife of the late Mario A. Pasquale, Quincy Fire Department, Retired.

Devoted mother of Joseph H. Pasquale and his fiancée Diane Loreth of Braintree.

Loving grandmother of Jacob Pasquale.

Dear sister of the late Henry J. Gatto.

Kay is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended Pasquale family members.

Visiting Hours will be held at the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy, on Monday, December 30, from 4 – 7 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Saint Joseph Church, 550 Washington Street, Quincy, on Tuesday, December 31, at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
