Maryanne A. Padula, age 79

Maryanne A. (Poulos) Padula, age 79, of Hebron, N.H., formerly of Quincy, died peacefully, Sunday, November, 30, 2025 at Laconia Rehabilitation Center in Laconia, N.H., surrounded by her loving family.

Maryanne was born, raised, and educated in Quincy. She was a graduate of Quincy High School, Class of 1963. Maryanne lived in Hebron, N.H. for twenty years, previously in Quincy for most of her life.

She worked as a bookkeeper and administrative assistant at the Bridgewater Power Company in N.H. for fifteen years. Maryanne loved her job and looked forward to going to work each day.

Above all, Maryanne was devoted to her family. She enjoyed hosting family parties and holidays. She especially enjoyed Christmas and Thanksgiving. At Thanksgiving, she was the star, and popular for her stuffing and stuffed mushrooms.

She enjoyed playing cards, cribbage, and Scrabble. Maryanne was a talented seamstress and well-known for her Halloween costumes.

Beloved wife for fifty-nine years of Michael J. Padula.

Devoted mother of Elizabeth A. Padula of Braintree and the late Deborah L. Padula.

Loving grandmother of Robert M. “Bobby” Zupkofska of Quincy.

Loving daughter of the late Mabel (Davies) and John N. Poulos.

Dear sister of David A. Poulos of Weymouth and his late wife Marjorie, Christine M. Seibert and her husband Jan of Braintree, Joyce E. Romeri and her husband Bob of Quincy. She was predeceased by Eleanor M. Carroll, Louise H. Mulloy, John D. Poulos, Ronald A. Poulos, and Gordon N. Poulos. Dear step-sister of Cass Poulos, Gail Poulos, Tina Bean, and Jimmy Herbert.

Maryanne is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visiting Hours will be held at the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy, on Tuesday, December 9, from 4 – 7 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Funeral Services will be conducted in Quincy Point Congregational Church, 444 Washington Street, Quincy, on Wednesday, December 10, at 10:30 a.m. Reverend Kimberly J. Murphy, Pastor, will officiate.
