Robert Paul Williams, Jr., age 77, of Clear Lake Shores, Texas, passed away, Wednesday, May 8, 2024 in Webster, Texas.

Born on January 9, 1947 in Quincy, Massachusetts to Robert and Catherine (Duane) Williams, he was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Catherine Williams, his eldest son, Robert “Robby” Williams III, and youngest brother, Timothy Williams.

He was an avid promoter of the human spirit, believing anything could be achieved if one set one’s mind to it, himself having become an engineer in the Petrochemical Industry.

He is survived by his wife, Jorene Williams, brothers and sisters Christina Eaton and her husband Jack of Braintree, Thomas Williams (Atty.) and his wife Patricia of Scituate, Rosanne Casey and her husband Jack of Hull, Brian Williams and his wife, Judith of Hull, Daniel Williams of Weymouth, Michael Williams and his wife Cheryl of Marshfield and Kathleen Kafel of Hull, and loving children, grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 from 3:00-5:00 PM with a Ceremony immediately following at Crowder Funeral Home, 1645 East Main, League City, Texas 77573.

Graveside Services will be conducted at Blue Hill Cemetery, 700 West Street, Braintree, Massachusetts, on Thursday, May 16, at 12 noon. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Those attending should gather at the cemetery office.
