Wayne F. Larsen, age 81

Wayne F. Larsen, age 81, of Methuen, died peacefully, Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at Concord Hospital in N.H.

Wayne was born in Peabody, raised and educated in South Boston. He lived in Methuen for nearly twenty-five years, previously in Quincy.

Wayne served in the United States Marine Corps during the 1960s. He received the Rifle Expert Badge.

He was the founder and operator of the former Wayne’s Autobody in Dorchester.

He was a life member and Past Commodore of the Quincy Yacht Club. Wayne was a boat enthusiast and avid hunter.

Loving lifetime partner of Mary Carter.

Devoted father of Kenneth J. Larsen of Quincy, Annmarie Larsen of Weymouth, and Christine Larsen of Plymouth.

Loving grandfather of Ryan Larsen, Tyler Larsen, Jamie Larsen, Christopher Larsen, and Brian Larsen.

Former husband of Mary A. (Serino) Murphy and her husband Steve of Quincy.

Wayne is also survived by Mary Carter’s family: daughter, Jennifer O’Neill and her husband Kevin, and their children, Kaelin and Braeden.

Dear brother of the late Robert Larsen.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Holy Trinity Parish at Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 1015 Sea Street, Quincy, on Monday, September 15, at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment, with military honors, to follow at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
