  • My deepest sympathies to Mark and Donna and the whole Giordani Family for the loss of Joan. May God surround all of you with his healing love and peace at this difficult time.

  • Our sympathy goes out to Art and family. We always enjoyed time with Joan at Winterpark and appreciated her help with craft and decorating projects. We’ve been missing her sweet presence at WP the last couple of years, but she’ll always be in our memories. May she rest in peace.

  • We were so sorry to hear of Joan and now Arthur’s passing.
We have lived next door on Manet Ave for the past 25 years and felt blessed to have such wonderful people as neighbors and friends.
Please accept our deepest sympathies and condolences during this most difficult time.

  • I am deeply saddened to hear of both of your parents passing.

When I moved here to marry my husband — a lifelong Houghs Neck local — I knew absolutely no one. At times, I felt like a stranger in a foreign land.

Your mom and dad were always outside together, gardening, laughing, and talking side by side. They never failed to stop and chat with me, ask how my husband and I were doing, share flowers from their garden, or exchange kind words. They made me feel welcomed. Those small gestures meant more than they probably ever knew.

I was always in awe of Mrs. G — her grace, poise, and beauty were simply breathtaking. And Mr. G was equally unforgettable: tall, handsome, and always wearing a warm smile. Together, they were such a special pair.

It breaks my heart knowing I will never see them again.

My deepest condolences to all of their family and friends. Truly, treasures lost.

  • Mark, so sorry to read about your mom’s passing. I know it hard, but be strong for your entire family. God bless and see you soon.

  • Condolences on the passing of Joan. Hope your family will find peace in the memories. I lived in the Neck till I was 28 years old…I was a Quincy Recreation Leader at Labrecque Playground 1969-1971 having coached both Mark and Jeff. Living in NH now I still have the Quincy Sun delivered to me. It is remarkable how I recognized Joan’s picture after seeing how closely she resembled Mark.

    Peace to the Giordani family,
