Mildred E. Connick, age 72, of Wrentham, died peacefully, Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at the Wrentham Developmental Center, in the comfort of her loving caregivers, Mindy DaSilva and Katie Wheaton.

Mildred was born in Boston and raised in Dorchester. She lived at the Wrentham Developmental Center for most of her life where she developed many friendships with her housemates and caregivers.

Mildred loved water activities, especially swimming and kayaking.

Beloved daughter of the late Mildred E. (Henwood) and James R. Connick.

Loving sister of Susan M. Blanchard and her husband David of Summerville, Florida, Sandra J. Connick of Braintree, Karen A. Connick, Colonel, USA, Retired and her husband Robert Cox of Milton, Florida, and predeceased by Anthony W. Moran, Eugene J. “Jimmy” Connick, Barbara A. Connick, and Nancy A. Connick.

Mildred is also survived by her nieces, nephews, and their families.

Funeral Services will be conducted at the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy, on Friday, July 10, at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visitation prior to the service from 10 – 11 a.m. Interment Pine Hill Cemetery, West Quincy.

For those who wish, donations in Mildred’s memory may be made to benefit the annual Christmas party for the residents of the Wrentham Developmental Center. Checks can be made payable to “Special Gift Fund” and in the memo line, please include “WDC – In Memory of Mildred E. Connick”.
