Barbara A. Biagini, age 94

Barbara A. (Coughlan) Biagini, age 94, of Middleborough, formerly of Quincy, died peacefully, Thursday, August 22, 2024 at Oakhill Healthcare, surrounded by her loving family.

Barbara was born in Quincy and raised by the late Basil and Isabelle (Casna) Coughlan. She was a graduate of Quincy High School and had lived in Middleborough for several years, previously in Quincy for most of her life.

Barbara was a devoted homemaker but had also worked as the CCD coordinator at Saint Ann’s Parish in Quincy for many years.

Barbara and her late husband, Richard, were active at the Holy Cross Retreat House in North Easton.

She enjoyed reading and gardening. Most of all, she was devoted to her family, actively supporting their many activities and accomplishments.

Beloved wife of the late Richard S. Biagini.

Devoted mother of Julie A. Waldrop and her husband Richard of Abington, Patti A. Norton of Hanover, Cathy A. Paven and her husband Andrew of Hingham, and Richard B. Biagini and his wife Marcia of Duxbury.

Loving grandmother of Kate Norton and her husband Daniel Racicot, James Norton and his wife Marissa, Michael Norton and his wife Cate, and Matthew Norton; Lia Paven Goldstein and her husband Conner, Sophie Paven, and Emma Paven; Nicholas Biagini and his wife Erica Mae, and Lily Biagini.

Cherished great grandmother of James and Cal.

Dear sister of the late Basil J. Coughlan and his surviving wife Angela of Prides Crossing.

Barbara is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and their families.

At the request of the family, funeral services and interment were private.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Barbara’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 320 Nevada Street, Suite 201, Newton, MA 02460.
