Edward A. “Eddie” Mack, Jr., age 77, of East Bridgewater, formerly of Hanover and Quincy, died peacefully, Sunday, August 2, 2026 at Boston Medical Center South in Brockton.

Eddie was born in Everett, to the late Josephine B. “Babe” (Caracciolo) and Edward A. Mack, Sr.

Raised and educated in Quincy, he was a graduate of Quincy High School, Class of 1967, and Saint Anselm’s College, Class of 1971. He later received his Master’s degree from Suffolk University.

He was an educator and taught health education at Duxbury High School and later geography at Duxbury Middle School. He retired in 2008 after thirty-two years of service.

Following his retirement, he travelled extensively throughout the world visiting Europe, Greece, Turkey, Russia, Egypt, Jordan, China, Thailand, South Africa, Croatia, and Peru.

Eddie was an avid Boston sports fan and enjoyed skiing and golfing. He also enjoyed all types of music.

At the request of the family, arrangements were private.
