  • I think frank was a giant among men and did a lot to help people . it was a privilege just too have know him

  • A wonderful man and public servant whose example taught many of us so much about life and public service. We will not see another like FXB. Rest in peace, boss

  • My early memory of Frank Bellotti goes back to the Shea Rink in Quincy. I knew that Mr. Bellotti has a big job, however, he would be standing rink side watching Mike playing goalie for the St. Ann’s Northstars. I admired that he always made time for his family.

Certainly, I’m sure he was an inspiration for Mike and his career.

    Our condolences,

  • Remembering Frank with fondness. Many years ago it seemed we were always meeting each other in the Quincy Hospital ER. One evening I rushed in with my toddler and my infant in the arms of a giant police officer well known by all and Frank was there in the small waiting area. He took my toddler in hand as I rushed through the doors with my infant. Later, back out in the waiting area we smiled at each other and said in unison, “We have to stop meeting like this”. The staff laughed out loud. We ran into each other through the years I lived on the South Shore and always smiled and laughed at the adventures of lives. He was such a kind man and it was obvious that his family was important to him. My condolences to them and all who shared his life well lived.

  • To The Entire Bellotti Family,

Another huge loss for the City of Quincy. Mr. Francis. X. Bellotti was truly one of Quincy’s good guys. I recall sitting on the front stoop of my Wollaston home as a youngster as he and William Delahunt would jog on by with a wave or a nod. I had no idea at the time these two men would be political juggernauts for the City of Quincy as well as the State of Massachusetts. As I grew older I got to know his sons Michael & Tommy. Both great people coming from an even greater family. I often got to see how genuine of a person & father Mr. Bellotti was with his family. May he now find the peace and serenity he so rightfully deserves. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Bellotti Family at this time.

    God Bless,

  • Frank was always here; just in case you needed him. He was ageless. Thousands of hours listening to him and many more watching him at the olde Huntington Avenue Y handball courts and the elevated cork track marked my view of the world. His remarkable attributes are all reflected in his kids. May God be good to him.

  • Dear Frank:

You were the definition of a role model for all of us who were fortunate enough to serve under you in the AG’s office. Hopefully you are already playing handball in the heavens and will achieve there what you did here! .Best wishes and thanks to the Bellotti family for sharing Frank with us.
